Operating regions
Torra Ltd operates across Scotland and Northern England, delivering forestry harvesting and extraction works on commercial forestry sites.
Our core operating areas include upland and remote forestry locations where terrain, access, and ground conditions require careful planning and experienced delivery. We are familiar with the regulatory, environmental, and logistical requirements associated with working across these regions.
Site types
The majority of our work is undertaken on complex sites, including steep ground, constrained coupes, and locations with limited access or challenging extraction conditions.
These environments place greater demands on planning, machine selection, and operational control, and require a disciplined approach to risk management and site supervision throughout the operation.
Projects outside core regions
While our primary focus is Scotland and Northern England, we will consider work outside these areas where site conditions align with our capability and where project scale and programme justify mobilisation.
Each project is assessed on its own merits, with a focus on safe delivery, practical logistics, and operational suitability.
